The font of the city names around the dial and the numbers on the UTC disk is based on the lettering of world and navigation maps from the Age of Discovery, which makes them visually appealing and easy to read.
The long, wide minute hand and the larger, more powerful indices ensure better readability. The hour hand, minute hand and indices are equipped with luminescence for better visibility at night.
