TSUYOSA Shore – urban watch in diver style

Until now, CITIZEN's successful TSUYOSA series was designed as a sporty yet rather urban watch. With the new models in the Shore collection, the Japanese watch brand is now taking a slightly more robust direction: Die The TSUYOSA features a characteristic diver's bezel and water resistance up to 10 bar. This makes it perfect for holidays.

Swimming in the sea or pool – both are now possible. There are four new TSUYOSA models in total, inspired by the concept of ‘Shore’ (coast). The colours navy blue, sea blue, seaweed/moss green and coral red are clearly inspired by the colours of the sea and the coast.

Long-awaited feature: waterproof up to 10 bar

Previous TSUYOSA models had a water resistance rating of 5 bar. This allowed for hand washing, showering and similar activities. However, this was not enough for many watch fans. CITIZEN listened to the feedback and designed the Shore series. With this series, you can now also go swimming and snorkelling.

Although the TSUYOSA Shore, with its 10 bar water resistance, is positioned below CITIZEN's PROMASTER series, whose diving watches are actually suitable for professional diving with 20 bar, 10 bar should be perfectly adequate for everyday use for watch fans who do not dive deep sea and normal swimmers.

GADA watch – Go anywhere, do anything

With the Shore collection, CITIZEN has transformed the TSUYOSA from an urban watch into a watch suitable for everyday use and holidays. Also known as a GADA watch (Go Anywhere, Do Anything). A category that is particularly popular with watch lovers.

Inside, the watch is powered by the proven in-house calibre and automatic movement 8210 from the TSUYOSA series, which can be viewed through a glass back. The power reserve is around 42 hours. The diameter of the new Shore models is 40 millimetres, and the height is 12.5 millimetres.
