The ATTESA model

First ATTESA model with ceramic bezel and solar-powered Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS

The ATTESA model series always features the latest technologies. This is now also represented in the latest ATTESA model CC4104-53E: in addition to the high-tech materials ceramic and titanium, we have used our most advanced movement for satellite-controlled GPS watches - the in-house caliber F950.

SPACESHIP Ceramic Bezel  - Design & Titanium know-how

The latest ATTESA model presents a combination of contrasting materials: the octagonal and scratch-resistant ceramic bezel has a brushed surface - the striking case in “spaceship” design is made of super titanium.

We have been setting new standards in the processing of titanium for decades. This new model uses our own in-house technologies. For example, to fit the octagonal ceramic bezel precisely into the recesses of the titanium case. The integration of the case and bracelet also ensures a streamlined, attractive design. The dial is inspired by untreated titanium, while the shiny metal rings of the totalizers (sub-dials) provide additional design accents. The dial ring has a rough, metallic texture that combines with the black dial to create a bold, modern look.

The movement

The model is equipped with the F950 caliber, the ultimate movement for Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS watches. It is able to receive time signals within three seconds - the fastest GPS satellite signal reception in the world.

No matter where you are on earth, this watch can receive time signals from satellites and ensure that it always displays the correct time. An additional feature is Double Direct Flight, which allows the user to change the display to local time in 26 time zones in just two steps.

    My Citizen Attesa is a beautiful and functional timepiece which I love to wear. The super titanium case and bracelet make it light and comfortable, while giving it a unique appearance and appeal compared with stainless steel watches. The octagonal ceramic bezel really sets off the distictive look while being hard-wearing. One of the key things I love is the anti-refective coatings on the sapphire crystal, which I now wish all my watches had - it makes the dial look so clear and easy to read, almost like there is no glass on the watch at all. I really appreciate the satellite wave technology and how quickly the watch adjusts to a new time zone, when I travel across time zones for work (or play) - this is a fantastic feature, together with a perpetual calendar. I have long been a fan of Citizen's Eco Drive technology - I have several Citizen Eco Drives as part of my collection (and that I have bought for family members), including a chronograph I have been wearing for more than 20 years - it is just so reliable, even having taken some bumps and knocks with my work, and yet it still looks great when I need to dress up. I love this new Attesa and I am sure it will also be serving me well for the next 20 years !
